Forbes the leading business magazine, has aptly stated "Modern Businesses need Modern Strategy" (Lau, 2020).  The article stresses the change in workforce and the challenges that face modern companies.

COVID has accelerated how, where and what we work on.  Skills and experiences needed in the workforce change as a need arises.  Managers can be choosy and prospective employees must know what they want to study.  Example could be the acclaimed Black Belt in Excel for advanced proficiency in Excel (SIMnet, 2023)

Classrooms have changed. Virtual classes are available as an eLearning platform. The digital revolution has changed how we learn and teach, even what we learn – full-time, part-time, online even degrees, certificates.  Subjects presented need to adapt to the need – e.g marketing is now more a digital program.

If Every company is now a technology company, then what does this mean for the company employees?

Thomas Watson, President of IBM said in 1943: " I think there is a market for maybe five computers. (Strohmeyer 2008).  I wonder what he would say today?
We are overcome with computers and technology today.  The "next generation" of technological development is upon us with Web 3.0 and Artificial Intelligence; taking the way we think and work to a whole new level.

Companies that embrace high tech, have well established policies for working hours and work-from-home opportunities.  Gone is the traditional office space - you can work in the park if you want.  real time feedback replaces the personnel review.  training is on hand and is available to staff when they want or need it. improved monitoring of both mental and physical health is possible with an array of apps to monitor. (Hochstrasser. 2022)

Web 3.0 allows for application to run across multiple devices, at the same time giving more privacy and security to users. the development of e-commerce and bitcoin changes even the way we trade.
the transition from web 1.0 to 3.0 where we are now, has no clearly defined lines.  Moving from basic HTML code to AI in little over 30years.  the new dApps for web 3.0 has already started changing the landscape of the digital realm.  (Blockchain 101)
